I am a devoted father and husband living on the NSW North Coast, and I am passionate about all things surfing, motorcycles of all varieties and endurance sports.
I bring with me over 17 years’ experience in the practical application of strategic leadership, cyber and protective security, human resources, finance, infrastructure, risk management, audit, governance, change management, project management, procurement, and contract management in a range of Executive positions throughout Federal, State Government, private sector, and military roles.
I am currently Contracted to the Department of Defence as the Program Security Manager for the Future Satellite Communications Joint Project 9102.
I am a pragmatic and outcome focused professional and genuinely enjoy the management of complex, diverse and performance-based projects with unique contract arrangements.
Experiencing success in these types of projects or programs is highly rewarding, particularly where it results in process improvements, staff development and cohesion and drives corporate goal attainment and project outcomes.
I envision a Company that ensures our clients have a clear and consistent understanding of the services being provided, why the services are critical to their success and how we can best support the success of these services now and into the future.
This is underpinned four equally weighted objectives:
My experience and expertise has been tested and evaluated at the highest levels of commercial industry, mining & energy, federal, state & local government sectors, demonstrating measurable successes across complex and multi-disciplinary operating environments.
I have delivered enterprise risk management, governance, and holistic security strategy outcomes and solutions for some of Australia’s most critical strategic infrastructure and have provided protective security advice and training both nationally and internationally.
I have been utilised as a subject matter expert witness regarding key infrastructure and security related issues that have surfaced in the public domain, successfully testing my competence and experience within both commercial and relevant government sectors.
I have also chaired board appointed security working groups and acted as the secretariat for several department’s cyber and protective security Critical Incident Response Team’s (CIRT).
